Does anyone else in the Armed Forces find the war protests to be disheartening?
While I signed up to defend the right of people to protest, the people that you see in the news, such as the recent protest in New York, that's not the kind of person I want to be defending. They do not know what they are doing to the morale of the troops. And more often than not, they are not even educated enough to make a solid argument against what we are doing. It makes me very sad to see the people that the armed forces are defending holding signs that promote a terrorist agenda. What are your thoughts?
I too took an oath to defend this country over 18 years ago and hope to be doing it for 24 more years until I am 60. Most of the protestors are ignorant of the situation of what is really going on. They read and watch the Associated Press, CNN, and Fox news, it is misleading them. All they want most of us to see is the bad in everything. Not what is really happening. Most of the people protesting are idiots and ignorant persons to begin with. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the Democratic National Party paid them to do it. Any thing to make our President to look bad. They forget about one of their own.JFK was a democrat and also got us involved in Vietnam, lost over 55,000 Americans in that war. They didn't call that war illegal. What makes Iraq illegal? Nothing. They forget that the President has the sole power to control the military the way he wants to. Whe wouldn't be at war now if the Clinton adminstration would have taken care of it in 1993 and in 1997, insted of banging interns, while his gay wife was stealing money from the tax payers in Arkansas. Why else would she run for the Senate in NY. Cause she is a crook!
Try not to let the liberal tree huggers get you down. What you don't see is the Millions of Americans who support you and me and the rest of our Military Forces around the world. The reason they host that rally in NY, cause they know that in the Mid West and South, that they couldn't get as many people to show up. The Majority of our nation support us. No matter what the press says. The press is for whoever is winning at the moment. Kind of like France. But we won't go there. Keep your head high and remember, there are horses butts all over this world and most of them are Democrats that support the gays and the drunk Senator from Massachusettes.
You must remember, The Unites States of America has the best, all volunteer armed force in the world. Not to mention the oldest. It's roots go back to the Minute Men that are now the US Army and US National Guard. Be proud of your country and overlook the jerks and ignorant who no nothing of the sacrifies you make to be in our nations military.
