Actually there is more to charging someone with intent to distribute than the mere quantity of the illicit substance. Such as large sums of cash, scales, baggies and other paraphernalia. Six grams of cocaine is not anywhere near enough to even think about charging intent to distribute, unless it was in crack form then the limit is only 1g. It was just for personal use. They also found a homemade pipe with marijuana resin inside. It was just him a two friends getting high in his car.And what kind of third rate sports website is that link you posted. The person who wrote that article has no idea what they are talking about. Even with only possession charges he could face up to ten years in jail if found guilty. So don't compare him to Vick. I'm sure that he won't get the maximum penalty if found guilty but he wont skate by mark free from this.
