Can someone give me a summary of what happened in the tv mini series It? (based on the novel by Stephen King?
Y'know the mini series based on Stephen King's, it was produced in 1990. I watched part of it, but I only reached the beginning of the part where they had the reunion at the restaurant.
My bad, I remember seeing the movie up until that one person (I forgot who) get's killed by "It" by being sucked into the pipes as "It" takes on the form of some sort of aura.
Stephen King's IT is my all-time favorite mini-series. It is worth seeing for anybody who hasn't seen it. If you have the Scifi Channel, they have shown it in the past. But here is your summary:
It starts off with a child being killed on a tricycle. Mike Hanlon, the librarian, finds a picture of Bill Denbrough's little brother who had been killed thirty years earlier. He calls in all the members of the original group known as the Loser's Club. Each of the Loser's Club had grown up to enourmous success except for Mike who stayed in Derry. Bill Denbrough was a horror writer and was making movies based on his books. Eddie Kasperack was the owner of a limousine service. Ben Hanscomb was a big time architect who had received an award before receiving the phone call. Stan Uris was an accountant. Beverly Rogan was a dress designer and Richie Tozier was a comedian who was on the Tonight Show. Mike Hanlon told them that IT (Pennywise the dancing clown) was back. They each had memories of the times when they were kids in Derry and they faced It the first time. They also remembered the trouble made by Henry Bower and his friends. Henry Bower was a patient at the mental hospital in Juniper Hills. It ate his friends when they were teenagers.
The second part of the movie is about the Loser's Club reuniting with the exception of Stan Uris who did not attend. They had to fight their demons in their minds and rebuild the friendship that saved them when they were kids. Henry Bower escaped with Pennywise's help and stabbed Mike Hanlon. Bill Denbrough's wife followed him to Derry and was captured by It in human form. The Loser's Club went into the sewers to finish it once and for all. They managed to kill the monster which was an alien spider (as described in the book). Bill saved Audrey and the Loser's Club split to go their different ways in life. Eddie Kasparack was killed in the sewer.
The summary that someone else gave is to The Stand, not IT.
