why do americans hate muslims if many famous americans are muslim?
i mean i was just looking up a few famous americans on wiki for a report,but then i found that almost all are muslim,like akon and t-pain and i even saw many famous americans like shaq and david webber,peter salem,rapper lu,busta ryhmes,writer daneil moore,mike tyson,Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,Michael Wolfe,Jermaine Jackson,and belive it or not even Michael Jackson ,Snoop Dogg,Rima Fakih(misss usa 2010),even american ambassador to the UN Zalmay Khalilzad,and i also found that all the navigators and captians of columbus ships were muslims,most that funded him were also muslim ,so is this a way to say thanks or what

i don't think all americans hate muslims, it's mostly the top elite who do, not the middle class or lower class, there could be few from middle and lower class who might though, and similar there could be some in the top elite as well who don't.
Here is the reason, explained:
When prophet Moses(pbuh) went to the court of pharaoh to invite him towards ALLAH(THE CREATOR of all), pharaoh told the people that look Moses (pbuh) seeks to change your religion. Was pharaoh worried about people's religion, not at all, he was worried, because he knew that what Moses(pbuh) is calling towards will free the people from his subjugation and his enslavement of them and so he wanted to show prophet Moses(pbuh) a threat to the common people.
Same is true of islam today
Islam is only hated by exploiters of the weak, or by those who have taken these exploiters as their 'gods' (so they submit to their desires).
islam has laws, which unlike any other laws, are for the benefit of people.
if there is islam, then inshALLAH(CREATOR willing):
1. AIDS will vanish from the society.
2. People dieing from drunk driving will cease to exist.
3. Enron, worldcom and madoff will not be able to steal and run and the weak of the society suffer.
4. People will not have to pay interest on their loan, and people with serious needs, unable to pay the installment on their basic necessities like a house, will not be deprived of those(meaning won't be thrown out of the house), instead will be given time when their situation improves and can pay it back.
5. Women will enjoy remarkable standards of freedom not offered by anyone(for the skeptics, read wth open eyes, think why divorce rate among muslims is the lowest, and no it's not just other parts of the world, even in the western society, the lowest divorce rate is among muslims, why if their rights really get violated?), no man can leave his women as single mom and she has to suffer all day work and then go home raise kids, and these same kids leave her when she becomes older, but the man has to earn and provide support for the women and the children, and if she chooses to work, she, according to the law, can keep the money to herself, meaning the requirement for earning and supporting will still lay on the man.
6. inflation will be a thing of past, instead prices will continue to fall until things become affordable for every person in the society.
7. people will not be treated as slaves by the rulers, instead rulers will have to act as servants of the people, where people can hold them accountable anywhere and anytime, for as little as loosing a needle, that belonged to the public.
And i would advise any fair minded person to 'read the islamic history before making any judgment on what islam and its laws are' and to abandon these shackles that these top elites and exploiters want you wear, just to have their interests served, don't submit to them as if they are 'gods' submit to THE ONLY TRUE GOD(ALLAH), WHO IS calling towards benefits, not suffering, for you.
