what is up with these ebay sellers selling lamborghinis at under 6k miles?
i have been looking at ebay just out of curiousity at lamborghinis and i don't fully understand how it works the bidding deal. for example, if you go to this link,

you will see that the current bid is at only about 5 thousand dollars. Below the bid it says, "reserve not met." does that mean that the bid is not even high enough to win the car? or if the time expires, will the person who bidded 5k actually win the car? please help i don't understand how ebay works.
Well - the hidden reserve price is probably just a little under the buy-it-now price.
If it doesn't sell they get a cheap auction for a high value item..
I guess they are optimistically hoping they can start a bidding war among some people with more money than brains who can push the bids up to near the price they want. Then the "reserve not met" thing would disappear and they would sell the car.
Moreover they are using the eBay site to get cheap advertising exposure for their business and hoping to attract clients who are browsing maybe looking for something else.
(If there is more in it than that I am happy for someone to enlighten me.)
