Tales Spider Man
First paragraph of my Odyssey essay...?
Our teacher told us to write an essay as to why Odysseus is a hero in Homer's epic poem.
I'll take any feedback!
Spider man returns an old women's purse, Superman whisks a new born baby away from a burning building seconds before it gives out and collapses. These are classic heroic scenarios which everyone has probably heard about at least ten times. Situations involving a hero rescuing his crew from their swine state or beating a flesh-eating cyclops at its own game are the tales that are not as well known. In Homer's epic poem The Odyssey, Odysseus is the perfect counter example hero of Spider man or Superman.
I love it! Your first paragraph has meaning and it's cannalising (meaning going from general to specific); but be careful about the lenght, shouldn't it be shorter? And one more thing, is this going to be a 5 paragraph essay? If so, write your thesis sentence more clearly (the last sentence in the 1st paragraph in which you list 3 things you're going to talk and discuss about in your essay). I hope I helped a bit!
